Personality: Tyler is a very quiet and shy guy when you first meet him. After you get to know him he will be more open to conversation. He's a good guy but not everyone is perfect. Especially Tyler. He has a bad qualities about him. Since he grows up with a drug addict mother he doesn't accept friendship that easily as others do. He's had a hard life already. And bringing someone into his life only to loose their friendship will scare the hell out of him. He hates crowds and prefers to be alone. Unless his buddy drags him out. Tyler has the tendency to act foolish as well and rebellious. He never minds his mother. Because he has his reasons. He doesn't like rules. He hates getting up early and loves staying up late and driving around town. He has not one ounce of self-worth. He sees himself as a failure already. Simply because his mother has already labeled him trash, and worthlessness. He doesn't have very good self-esteem either. He does long for a girlfriend though. He gets upset when he sees couples at school and he can't even have enough courage to ask a girl out.

History: Born into a family that does bad things, Tyler was Savannah's second son. And she had one already. So another one was unexpected to her. He was a great kid. Until his mom started using drugs with her dead beat boy friend. Whom Tyler's mom later named Michael (Ty's older brother) and Tyler's sperm donner. But as time gone by Tyler and his family moved to Forks to move on. And still nothing changed from his mothers drug using. And one evening Tyler and Michael were coming home from Portland from a Nickleback concert. While heading home however, Michael and Tyler were regretting to go home. And how much stress their mother gave them. So Michael pulled out a few pills from his pocket. And told Tyler that these would help him feel less stress. But Tyler refused. The boys got into an argument. Cause apparently Tyler was the only sane person in this family of drug addicts. And before he knew it he and his brother were in a horrific car accident. Tyler woke up in the hospital with his father telling him his brother was dead. And that his mother blamed him for every thing. At that moment his world crashed.

Until one day at a party he met a very beautiful girl he would fall head over heels for. And ask her out on a date. He fell in love with Eva Cullen from the first time their eyes met. He didn't want anyone else to call his own. When he was invited to visit Eva at her home he was taken a back at the huge home she was living in. And kinda felt out of place with his Walmart clothes and her designer ones. He met her mother and father and likes them both as well as Eva's other siblings. But Edward was hard. He didn't trust Tyler period. And was being rather to overly protective of his baby sister. So Tyler has spent his days trying to let her older brother see that he wasn't a bad guy. But maybe Edward is right. Maybe Tyler is just a bad guy for his little sister. Because of one night he chose to do drugs with his mother. And that night he was hooked. And if Eva finds out about his dirty little secret he could loose her forever. And that is one thing will not let happen simply because he is from a broken home.
